Citizens Guide & Dashboard The City of Westland has officially launched the Citizens Guide to how taxpayer dollars are utilized and a Financial
Dashboard that is required by the State of Michigan to receive 2/3 of statutory piece of state shared revenue, which is approximately
$1.1 million. The Citizen’s Guide, Dashboard and The City’s Unfunded Liability – OPEB, are three components
that are required to be provided and this concept meets all three criteria and can now be accessed on the homepage of the
City’s website at www.cityofwestland.com
Westland Farmers Market
Westland Farmer’s Market is returning for the 2011
season with a new location. This year the Westland Farmer’s Market will be held in the Westland City Hall parking lot
on Ford Road. The market will take place every Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will run through October 25, 2011.
